What You Can Expect in a Typical Phone Session

  • A supportive, confidential space to talk about what’s on your mind

  • Time to explore your current challenges, emotions, and goals

  • Gentle guidance to help you clarify thoughts and feelings

  • A collaborative approach to ensure our conversations are meaningful, supportive, and focused on strategies that are relevant and useful to you

  • Agreed upon focus for the session and or goals which will be set

  • Practical strategies to support your emotional well-being and goals

  • Examples could include tools to build skills like communication, coping, defining what self care is, learning healthy thinking tools to interrupt rumination

  • The freedom to share as much or as little about yourself as you feel comfortable

  • Sharing your personal history can be therapeutic and helpful in shaping future goals—but it’s always your choice what to share and when

  • A post-session summary provided by email, including any suggested “homework,” reflections, or strategies we discussed

  • Time at the end of the session to discuss any questions, explore options for further support, and clarify next steps

You are welcome to rebook another session right away, or take time to reflect and practice the strategies we've discussed before reaching out again. Some clients attend just one session, while others return when they feel another session would most helpful. There is absolutely no expectation to rebook—this is an as-needed service, guided entirely by you.
